匹配题中隐藏的定位词

匹配题是个蛮有特点的题型：考查你是否能将题目信息对应到段落，也是种定位，但却不给明确定位词，其他的细节题如填空和判断题往往有显著定位词（easy-to-spot word)。

而且，匹配题是典型的乱序题，直接扼杀了想考上下题目“逼出”答案的念头。

而且，匹配题经常大面积考查（一组5-8题），即使对于基础较好的考生也造成很大压力。而且，匹配题经常给出醒目的“NB“，提示某个段落可以对应有两个题目的信息。

实际上，在匹配题目里是有一些可以定位的信息词，只是与填空题中直白的定位词不同，匹配中的定位词往往犹抱琵琶半遮面，需要我们略作揣度。

其中“an earlier natural phenomenon”提示我们原文的目标是有时间的词并且自然现象往往是术语或有确切的名称，经常是大写的，而在文章里既有时间又有大写名词的是D段 

“…… The idea is modeled on historic volcanic explosions, such as that of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines in 1991, ….” (这里举例皮纳图博火山喷发就是对应的名称）

mention of a period in which oxytocin attracted little scientific attention

其中“a period”提示我们原文目标是一段时间（注意不是某个时间点），而文章里只有在B段有明确的时间段

“…. ‘For eight years, it was quite a lonesome field,’ Heinrichs recalls. ….”

an estimate of how long it will take to overcome a number problems

其中“how long it will take to do” （做某事花费多长时间）提示我们原文目标是时间（跨度）同时还要注意这里的时态“will do”说明是预测将来的，那么这个时间应该在文章后段出现，把将来时态考虑进来就不会被其他段落的时间干扰，对应找到G段

其中“age”是我们熟知的词，而年龄往往对应有数字，比如 seven months, 或者10 years of age之类，原文中有两段提到年龄分别是G段和H段

H

“…..Bronson found that the intensity of the frustration and anger in their disagreements increased sharply between the ages of 1 and 2 years. ….”

如此，即使没看懂究竟各自是什么意思，至少也可以锁定其中的某个答案，成功率50%；有的考生不大理解“a static image of themselves”, 其实就是静止不动的自己，而通过排除法也可以先选出答案是G。

其中“potential savings” 或者“savings”指省钱，提示我们原文应该金钱类的cost, expense之类或者直接写出具体数字；原文中的确也有多个段落有数字，但是跟金钱有关的只有在C段
